Arcane Necromancer

There are many fields of magical study forbidden by The Collegiate Arcane , however none is regarded with as much fear and repulsion as the practice of necromancy. Once an aberration of twisted despair from the earliest of Alvain arcanists, the illegal study of necromancy has grown significantly in the public eye ever since humans were admitted into magical academies across Alwaus. Whether or not the young species has yet to develop the maturity to resist the temptation to restore life to the dead, or they are simply obsessed with the inevitability of their oblivion it makes little difference in the end. Those that pursue the study of necromancy - and are willing to accept the toll it takes on a human body - are exposed and charged with magical malpractice - a crime that is usually by death for most humans. Those arcanists that insist on practicing the art must instead do so in secret, always knowing that their discovery would likely result in their annihilation.
