An outdated version of rifle used most prominently in the The Inheritance War, the Arquebus was so widely manufactured and distributed across the continent that many of the rifles manufactured two hundred years ago are still in operational condition today. Lacking the firepower and modern precision brought on from gunnery artifciating in the past two centuries; the arquebus remains a ceremonial weapon for many of the [The Thirteen Kingdoms and is still deployed in the occasional battlefield when more modern firearms are not available in enough volume to equip a proper army.
