A "bastard" in the sense that it truely doesn't belong to any one of the two sword cateogires, this sword is perhaps best described as a "hand and a half" sword in that i can be weilded effetively in a strong user's single hand or in a two handed grip similair to that of a longsword. This flexiility and adapbility allow the user to deliver powerful blows with precision and accuracy while the unprediacability of the weapon aids in keeping the opponent off-balance.
