These strange, pot-bellied Dwarven Idols were popular during the Dragon Wars. Dwarves would give them to trusted allied Human heroes to aid in battle. While many have asked about the pot-belly, the Dwarves simply snicker (a rarity for them) and dismiss the question. The possessor of this idol (has it on their person, factored into their Encumbrance) gains the Dwarven ability Tough as Nails: Once per session, the character may spend a Story Point as an out-of-turn incidental immediately after suffering a Critical Injury and determining the result. If they do so, they count the result rolled as “01”.
