Faerie Mushrooms

Faerie mushrooms are a catch all term for the varietal species of hallucinogenic mushrooms found throughout Alwaus. A mild toxin to most species, while these mushrooms contain limited nutritional value, they are known to trigger strong hallucinogenic effects in those that consume them. Wildly popular among the more feral peoples of Alwaus, they mushrooms take their name from old belief that they allowed those who consumed them to see and commune with the ancient faeries from before the time of dragons.
