While still putrid and disgusting creatures, some goblyns are able to tap into the primal magics of Alwaus.

Only a fool would think a golbyn intelligent enough to learn basic speach, let alone master true arcane abilities, however, there are indeed some of exceptional cleverness who have managed to not only discover their sorcerous abilities, but also harness them to a degree. Adventurers who come across goblyn primalists often take them for mere gobliy leaders, but soon learn better when bolts of energy are hurled their way. Like all goblyns, their primalists are cowardly and avaricious, but with their connection to life magic they are able to brutally slay foes from which most of their kin would flee in terror - and as such are often found in posiitons of leadership among the squabble of goblyn ranks.
