Inscribed Robes

Inscribed Robes are invaluable for casters. While the protection isn’t constant, at the right time it can be the difference between life and death. The wearer of Inscribed Robes can (as a maneuver and once per session) activate the robe’s runes. When activated, the inscribed runes glow and increase your soak score by an amount equal to the number of ranks you have in the Knowledge (Lore) skill. This effect lasts until the end of the encounter. Of course, even without activation they offer the protection of heavy robes (+1 to defense).
