A artificed design that blends the lines between bow and firearm, the needler bow does not fire conventional arrow, but instead generates a bolt of pure arcane energy that flies loose from the arrow's drawstring before hunting down it's target like a hungry dog. Once target by a needler bow, there is little one can do to avoid it's sting, as the bolts will often bend around obstacles and even circle back on themselves in an effort to hit their target.
