Periapt of Wound Closure
Periapts (charm necklaces) of Wound Closure usually consist of a large ruby set in silver or gold on a small gold or silver chain. While these items do not actually heal Wounds, they do enable healing in a different way, in regard to critical damage.
The wearer of the Periapt automatically becomes stable when they have met or exceeded their Wound Threshold.
In addition, if the wearer is suffering a Critical Injury, this condition is removed at the end of the character’s next turn (bones knitted, burns healed, wounds closed, etc.).
The Periapt does not restore any number of Wounds, but it does double the rate of normal healing and allows wounds to heal that would not do so ordinarily (such as wounds from weapons of Wounding). It also allows the wearer to ignore the Bleeding condition caused by some creatures.
