Ring of Protection

Rings of Protection are made of gold or silver and often have a decorative element (such as the example to the right) or a shield motif. The wearer of a Ring of Protection gains +1 to Soak. This protection even works with armor, as long as the character’s total Soak does not exceed 6. Some of these rings grant +1 to Defense instead. This protection even works with armor as well, as long as the character’s total Melee or Ranged Defense does not exceed 3.
