Silverline Sails

While wind powered sails have dominated naval warfare and trade for the entirety of histoy in Alwaus, the recent development of Silverline Sails has revolutionized the maneuverability and speed of nearly every naval vessel in less than two decades. By weaving a silver-zinc compound into the cotton threads of a ships sails, a vessel is abile to harnass the magical energies pushing through the winds themselves. The silver in the sails serves as a conduit that is then fed down the ships mast through a hardline silver cable and processed into the ship mechanics through an artificated reactor.


The resulting jump in technology left many captains and sailor left behind, but those that managed to keep have been enjoying the fruits of a new age of sailing.

Discovery

A Kinderstärke design initially, it was first experimented with and then put into production through a partnership with The Kingdom of The Autumn Valley. The succesful longtrek sailing of Silverline Sails was completed on Autumn 138, 14,994 AoA (83 BAOE)
