Strong Addiction
There are a variety of natural and alchemically produced substances in Alwaus with properties that make them physically or psychological addictive. Once your character is addicted, they must use the drug they are addicted to once for every day equal to either their Resilience of Disciple ranking (as determined by the GM in accordance to the substance's effects), or decrease their strain threshold by half until they do so.
To end their Minor Addiction, your character must go without using the substance they are addicted to for at least one week or more (depending on the substance), and may also need to make another Resilience or Discipline Saving Throw to overcome the addiction and then spend 5 experience to change this bane's text to read "Recovering Minor Addict - This character has a previous addictive history with SUBSTANCE NAME, and should they use the substance again (whether intentionally or not) they must make a Hard (d d d) Resilience of Discipline Saving Throw or else this Bane reverts back to its previous "Minor Addiction" form.
Some players may not want to roleplay dealing with the side effects of addiction. This is entirely reasonable, especially since people can have traumatic experiences with addiction in real life. As always player's sense of safety and comfort should take precedent in situations like this and communication (whether privately or open) are always encouraged.
