It is said that eons before the Dragons ruled Alwaus, the world belonged to incomprehensible beings of pure soul and spirit. The first of The Godesses creations, she granted them power without restraint or discipline - and allowed her children to flourish and grow uninhibited and free. But the celestials are long gone, and whatever footprints these titans left on the world have long eroded away with the patience winds of time.
Some believe the Celestials were not destroyed, but rather imprisoned or banished to another world. There they stir in anger and loneliness - longing eternally for freedom and power they once wielded in abundance. The superstitious even whisper about dark secrets and pacts that men and women have formed with these beings. They are said to whisper to the weak willed in the maddening moments of their greatest desperation... promises them powers and wealth beyond their wildest dreams; should they only take the smallest step to weaking the walls between their reality and our own...
