Tavern Bard
Pompous, promiscuous - and hopefully euphonious
All but the most run down and remote villages in Alwaus would seem unnaturally quiet and empty without a local bard. Often a combination of musician, storyteller, and promoter - a good bard can make the difference between a failing bar and prosperous business. Most are expected to play some sort of instrument, however the actual skill of the bard depends greatly on the size and prominence of the city or town that they are playing in.
Most bards are human, and as such are rarely invited to perform their craft for the likes of the Alvain in Alvantis. Instead, most wind together what living they can - entertaining the common folk of the various towns and villages across Alwaus - while doing their part to contribute to their profession's reputation for promiscuity.
