The Black Moon

The third moon of Alwaus, it rotates in equilibrium with the planet with it's position locked in relation with the planet so that it's visible surface is always in a "new moon" phase - and as such never reflects light from the sun. It is instead only observable with the naked eye by noticing the footprint it's silhouette leaves on the night sky - subtly blocking out a small section of stars in the night sky.
