Perhaps more similar to a surgeon's syringe than a dagger, a vein stiletto is a small, fragile steel pike that can be concealed quickly and easily in it's wielder's sleeve until the moment strike. Small enough to slip through the gaps in an opponent's armour, the vein stilleto is best used to pierce vulnerable areas where it can puncture deep into the flesh and release it's payload. What makes the vein stiletto so reviled in civilized society is the thin chamber within the blade itself that can be disassembled to be filled with a single dose of most liquids. Once injected into the bloodstream, the posion is free to wreck havoc - dealing far more damage than one could we a more.... traditional blade. Because of the subterfuge and treachery involved with such a weapon, vein stilettos are banned across the entire empire with the penalty for wielding such a weapon mirroring that of "conspiracy to commit murder of a nobleman" in most of the kingdoms.
