Warding Talismans like most such talismans offer an inexpensive, one-shot magical boost when needed. This one-use talisman has a simple, but powerful benefit. When activated (as an out-of-turn incidental), the wearer adds +2 to soak for the encounter. After this, it becomes a non-magical item.
