Some say that when you put your ear to a seashell, you can hear the ocean. While those of a more scientific bent will tell you that this is perfectly natural, tales persist of folks receiving an actual message from time to time.


While this naturally enchanted seashell can take many forms and decorations it's more of a minor natural law than an actual spell. When using a whispershell, it can contain a message that can be stored inside the seashell and heard by a recipient if you take the seashell and put it up to your ear. Witches of the high seas sometimes use these to communicate with each other and some leave arcane markings or riddles to protected treasure or guide allies.


It is whispered that the first primalists learned these secrets from the bottom of the ocean. Whatever creature sends messages to the surface in this fashion is unknown, but some have lost their minds after hearing ancient words from the darkest deep.
