Wolves

The parent species of the domestic dog, the canine wolves are typically larger and more muscular than their more civilized cousins. They can be found in nearly every corner of Alwaus, and are known to chase down haggered travelers who wander off the beaten paths in the mountain and forests.

While technically omnivores, Wolves have demonstrated a preference for fresh meat. While they typically persue prey animals like deer and rabbits, they have been known to attack more sentient races as well, typically when food becomes scarcer in winter times. Wolves typically travel in packs, where a clear leader of "alpha" sits in a leadership position.
