Dwarves

Dwarves are a short and stocky race that prefers to live just below the surface in great carved out strongholds and carverns. They usually stand around 4 to 5 feet tall and typically live for around 350 years. Known to be increadibly industrious, dwarven architects and builders are highly sought after on the surface and are known for their iconic geometric architecture and designs and dwarven forged goods are known to be some of the best in the known world.
Dwarven culture can vary greatly depending on the hold or mountain range they are from, with some holds having close ties with surfacers and regularly venturing to the surface, while other holds are distrustful of surfacers and even may look down on dwarves who have even stepped foot on the surface before. One thing that pervades all dwarves though is their incredible stubborness.
