The River Styx

The River Styx is the path the god Charon takes to deliver souls to their afterlives. It not being an actual river, the Styx is believed to be a divine, cosmic pathway in the Astral plane. Those who have passed away and returned to life claim that they floated along on a river of divine energy through a colorful, cosmic void. With the river ending at a bright, blinding light but being unable to see what lay beyond it.
