Penngwynn is the large castle that the White Cloaks call their main base of operation. While they have many historic bases - some in disrepair, some ready for use - with the demon threat pushed back to The Scar at the edge of the world, Penngwynn is one of two remaining White Cloak base in frequent use.
Penngwynn, close to civilisation, is where veteran White Cloaks go to be rotated away from the front and new White Cloaks go to be trained to join the front lines. There is a dark atmosphere that infests the air and magic seals guard the perimeter to prevent outbreaks of demons from infected White Cloaks.
People are closed off and somber here. The captains have created a place of tranquility, and encourage rest and mental health support.
