Each plane has unique properties

Each plane of the multiverse has unique properties that the players is not expected to necessarily know and therefore is not included in these house rules. Interaction with NPCs to learn of the properties of a plane is encouraged before characters attempt to access a new plane. It may be a good idea to keep notes on the properties of each plane.
