Inventory Management and Encumberance are Important!

D&D Beyond is now a useful tool for tracking encumberance and for keeping tabs of which bag, hand, or body part is carrying your various items. Please use it (or do it manually on paper). You will be able to drop one backpack or other bag as your interaction on your turn. The concept of a military "rucksack" which is immediately dropped on entering combat should come to mind here.  Note that the only encumberance we will not track is coin encumberance (so turn that feature off in the home screen of your character on D&DB).  But you will still need to know where your coins are (use cointainers in D&DBeyond).
