Ace Pilots are the elite. Whether it’s a starship racing through the inky void of space or a ground vehicle zooming between trees, around boulders, and across dusty badlands, they are most comfortable at the controls of something that goes fast.

Your Ace might be a member of an elite military force, the recipient of intense courses of training. Alternatively, you might be a total amateur with innate skills that make you a much-admired hotshot.

Ace Pilots gain an extra language upon character creation. Choose one: Akitonian, Aklo, Arkanen, Brethedan, Castrovelian, Draconic, Druw'th, Eoxian, Kalo, Nchaki, Sarcesian, Triaxian, Vercite, Veskit or Ysokic.
Ace Pilots start with the following Tier 0 Talent:

Signature Vehicle

Choose one vehicle as your 'Signature Vehicle', a vehicle cannot stop being your Signature Vehicle unless it is completely destroyed or sold. Your Signature Vehicle receives the following benefits.

• You Upgrade all Mechanics checks once when working on it.

• +1 Handling

• All weapons with Limited Ammo receive +1 to their value.

• +2 System Strain Threshold

• When you are within Short Range of it, you Upgrade your Charm and Negotiation checks once.

The Ace pilot counts the following skills as career skills: Piloting (planetary) and piloting (space) . Before spending experience during character creation, a Ace pilot may choose four of their career skills and gain one rank in each of them.
