Oldgate

Oldgate is theorised to once have been the hub of Qabarat, with its many aiudara gates scattered around the neighbourhood. After the Gap, however almost all of them had their magic dispelled, their stones crumbled, or the portal became faulty and dangerous. As citizens left to choose alternative districts of aiudara to transport through, scholars replaced them to study these curious effects, and a variety of education and research facilities grew here.
