Orcish nomadic tribes
The caravan was on the move. Shambling shadows in the blizzard pushing forward. The shelter was near they could all smell it. Their mouths wattered up. Fresh meat! Their eyes shone in the haze. It's been days since the last meal. Nothing will take this one from them. They came to their prey. Small child with scraped knee. They were desperate, but the leader stood fast against their animal side. "THIS WILL NOT STAND, YOU HEAR ME? HAVE SOME FAITH AND HONOR!" He cried to his brethren as they were close to eating the poor child. He took it into his arms and went south to the village he knew was there.
Lonely lantern and drowned cries were his lead. When he stood before the father he handed in the kid and turned around not seeing the tears of joy of this poor man. There was a shout. More lanterns showed up. They saw crying father with his son in his arms. There flew the first stone. It struck the chief across his face. He turned around. the next hit him in the back as he walked into the snowstorm. Then he met a lost cow out in the cold. At least they wont starve and he will not have to cry for more of his brethren.

Major language groups and dialects
Orcish is the main language of Orc tribes. To a skilled observer the Orcish from different families can seem different, but it's just an accent. Orc chieftains allways refused to learn other languages so only some can say few words in other languages but that's rare.
Culture and cultural heritage
The orcs believed that afterlife is accessible only if ones ancestors would grant it based on your life experience and since most ancestors fought the War of monsters the need to fight a great battle is sometimes neccecary. This however creates problems for neighbouring setttlements which are often targeted in such brawls.
Shared customary codes and values
They are pacifistic when unprovoked to all other sapient species. They value trees above all else and refuse to cut down or make stuff from living trees. Dead wood they turn into primitive tools, but since burning wood is major crime their weapons are usually from stone and wood. Some use obsidian to provide an edge.
Average technological level
They dont smelt metal. All their weapons are made from hardwood and occasionaly obsidian.
Common Etiquette rules
It is customary to spit on the ground when meeting the chief or an elder.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The old religion is practiced to some extent, but some say perverted to sue the needs of orcish warlords. But some tribes still keep the old traditions, mainly tending and singing to trees.

Beauty Ideals
Underbite is a big thing for forrest-orc women. Males on the other hand ussually seek out the best fightress they can beat in a duel and mate.
Courtship Ideals
Male challenges female to a duel when he flicks her forehead. The duel can be bloody. Wins the side which pins the other to the ground. If female wins she can still mate the male, but generaly doesn't.
Relationship Ideals
Mate and leave be. There is no love just survival.
