Helped the party during The Verdant Corruption event. Sterling withstood the corruption just long enough to help put an end to Queen Nerine of The Feylight, but the corruption took root within them as she was passing. This vile toxin made it so that Erdan Dawnleaf felt it was necessary to fell Sterling with his Arcane Rifle. In a show of remembrance, Nathaniel Haven made Sterling's visage the sigil of the new Feylight Guardians based in and around the center of Haven Island.
