Waacgh Flesheater, The hungering god (W-ah-hch)
Eater of Flesh, Lord of the Hunt, King Beast, Lord of the Orks, Fear of All the Isles Waacgh
The Screams yet echoed throughout the Isles. Upon the green and the rock of the Isles shimmered the dark of the red of the first blood. The soul of the first dead had left its body, and Pain had ripped into the lands for the first time. How destructive was the rage of Cyndiran, the Dread Queen; how mortifying the fear of the newly mortal creatures. The war of the Aether raged on in the smoke and mist of the deadened realm, yet in the peaceful lands beyond lay the Isles newly born.
Within the dark of the caves of Anibock, the Ringed-realm, the shadows spread in the night. The first blood, flowed free into the shadows. The lights flickered low of the sky above, and the breeze sang over the stones of the caverns. As the dew of the morn seeped over the barrows and the rot, it flowed into the mouth of the caves beneath. And within such stone walls lay the mud and muck. And with the blood it flowed. And formed up came Waacgh, the greatest hunger - lord of the hunt.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________The hungering god stepped up into the light - his skin breaking the rays for the first time. As he stepped unto the earth, each thundering footstep resounded in the air. And from each footstep's mark came an Ork child to follow their father in his wandering. And on they walked until the scent of flesh filled their lungs. Off they chased, and succumbed thence the first horde of cattle to their hunger. From their loins they feasted. From their bones they forged their blades and clubs. And from their skins they sowed the Tent of a thousand hides. And with more cattle they sewed further homes the same. And thus they spread across the caverns, across the Isle of Anibock, and unto lands beyond. And rose up traitors and liars who persuaded away hordes of Orks from their lord. And came hosts of Orks who broke to become ruled by themselves. Yet still the hunt and starving flows through all. And deep within the cliffs of Anibock lives the King of Orks, lord of those whom hunger.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
"I stared at him for a long while, I'm not sure how long exactly. His skin was so curious, so...deeply strange. When he walked through different light and different shadow it would shift color, moving across his flesh like a fleeing beast. He stood nearly a dozen tics high, I'm sure of it; yet he looked stout and thickly muscled. I mean, I know of some strong lads back home, but I have never seen anyone look as thick and strong as him. You could see veins upon veins upon tendon upon tendon carved across his body, it was really amazing. He was carrying a huge axe, half-rusted off, obviously not taken care of as we humans treat our weapons - almost as if he knew it wouldn't make a difference; that he was deadly either way. His chin jutted out at the teeth, and curved back in beneath, this strange almost snout-like appearance. His skull and face was so taught - like his skin was leather dried in the sun. He had lower tusks sticking out from his teeth; that rose up almost to his eyes. His eyes! They were deep black pits, with a huge bright orange dot in the center. And when you looked in them - he made eye contact with me once or twice - you felt this...ravenous insatiable hunger. I've never seen anything like him."
Oveq DeCaput, a human surveyor who encountered Waacgh during his measurements of Anibockan territory for farming. He has since continued his observations on Anibock, but says he now carries several pounds of dried meat as an offering the great hunter should he ever see him again.
