Calborough Castle

History

The original purpose of the castle was to safe guard an entrance to the Under Dark. This entrance was created during Sonia's conquests into the Under Dark. Eventually she lead the Brandt Heart to clear most of the upper parts of the Under Dark. Forcing many of the dwellers below that mountain to flee miles and miles below the surface, the castle eventually fell out of use. There would rarely be threats that came out of the Under Dark all the way to the entrance, and so the tropes here were planned to be moved to the fort further south. Days before they left, they were ambushed by some sort of Fey Creatures and the Brandt-Heart stationed here were slaughtered. It became haunted with their spirits, as many of them were bitter that there life was cut short, and felt tied to protect the castle from any invaders.
