Fortune's Path

Fortune's Path was originally founded by the ancestors of the Iron Hills people who passed through Old Salt on the way to the Blood Peak Mountains. They believed themselves to be on a blessed path of fortune given to them by the Morndinsamman. Although originally from the mountains, the Iron Hill people had become adept to many environments, and some of their master ship makers decided to stay in Old Salt, and make ships here for the pirates here who fought back against the Anoiran Empire.

Structure

The leader of the Path is selected by a moot held every year in which every member of every crew is able to vote on who they believe they leader should be. As candidates fall out of contention for not having enough votes, those who voted for them are then commanded to choose another person to vote for. This occurs until one person has a majoirty of all the votes, and they are elected leader.
