Jarvenol

Jarvenol was the agricultural hub of K'ul Goran. In the east, towards the mountains, Jarvenol was a city surrounded by vast farmlands.
During the Giant Invasion, Jarvenol was the earliest major loss for the republic, as giants overran the defences and sacked the city, wrecking much of it and burning many of the fields nearby.
Since the war, efforts have begun to restore the farmsteads and clear through the rubble of the city to learn what could be salvaged, and what the efforts will be to rebuild. It will take a long time to restore the city, and K'ul Goran still faces many challenges.
During the Seige of Jarvenol, though most of the citizenry made it to safety, one of the biggest losses was historic in nature, as a great Hall of Learning was situated in the city. Chief Archivist Sark ensured as many artifacts as possible made it out, but the destruction of the building marked a great loss in knowledge for the country.
