Daring Heights is Retaken

The Bear King cleanses the city with bees and a force of bears and Xvarts free the prisoners of war.

After the fall of Daring Heights, many adventurers had been captured by the orcs and were held in their war camp, undergoing horrific conditions. The remaining adventurers left the refugees of Daring in Faerûn and travelled to the Feywild to seek aid in reclaiming their home.   Negotiations were had with representatives of the Snow Queen and the Bear King, and ultimately a deal was made with the Bear King: Daring Heights will pay to the Bear King 5.5% of income until the town begins making profit again, at which point it will pay 6% of income for 5 years. The Bear Kingdom and Daring Heights will have a defensive pact going forward, and the Bear King will clear the orcs out of Daring with a swarm of bees and will send a small force of bears to help free the captives. Finally, 3 stones will be placed in the earth around Daring Heights, which will augment the pillar of light that Daring is represented as within the Feywild.   Negotiations complete, the adventurers made one more pitstop at the caves housing the remaining Xvarts, led by Xvad - a brute with an Infinity Shard in his axe. In an incredible feat of manipulation, Nowhere the Warlock convinced all the Xvarts that they had failed a test and he was their new leader and only hope of salvation.   The Xvarts would return with the adventurers to help free the captives, and began construction efforts to help rebuild Daring Heights, much to the confusion of the residents.   The city was purged, the captives were freed, and Daring Heights was restored. The following year was one of steady rebuilding.
