Magnehamn the Wild Hunt
"Have you ever had that feeling like you're chasing a thought? Like it's just out of reach and you can't catch it?"
Dreadlord Magnehamn Of the Inverted Triumvirate
Magnehamn is the god of the hunt, fear, violent death, nature, dreams, and souls. His worshipers are known for their leather-and-fur garb and predatory prowess; hunters and wildsmen train in lodges and druidic circles throughout the land, giving offering to him of the first of every hunt.
Magnehamn is, as all of the Inverted Cycle are, not publicly worshiped — the Church of the Cycle officially prohibits their worship, as they are said to invite death. Young children are inducted into the study of the Wild Hunt, and graduate to worship of the next god of the Inverted Cycle at a comparable age to Syll's charges; age 20. Those who pledge to Magnehamn collect hides and tan them, the more individual hides in their cloak the longer they've practiced. Unlike Syll's alchemical sashes this practice obviously emulates, there is no upper limit to the number of hides one may have, with the most powerful sages turning their cloaks into forest temple tents.

Holy Books & Codes
Magnehamn has no official book of worship, but instead writings teaching the rites and beliefs are hidden in the code of many survival manuals written by famous wildsmen.
Tenets of Faith
The Dreadlord is known for representing the fine line between man and monster, the inner predatory urges of man and how to control them. His worshipers spread many books preaching how to control this aspect of yourself and release it only when necessary.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
The Dreadlord takes the form of man and beast alike, often in dreams, shifting between them in a moment's glance. In the form of man he is a gleaming white lord, ironclad, but shockingly young. In the form of beast he is seen as a wolf on fire.
Body Features
Smouldering grey fur in bestial form, with lungs of fire; in man form, no one is sure what he looks like, as he has always been clad in iron armor from the start, covered in shifting, living furs, antlers, and dripping blood of the hunt.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Magnehamn emerged from the wellspring of thoughts in the Dreamwild, according to the legends; being formed from the fears, hopes, dreams, and instincts of man. Magnehamn formed and molded the Dreamwild into a land mirroring the minds of the dreamers, taking it as his demesne; preying upon the unobtainable dreams and the darkest fears as his quarry in the Wild Hunt.
Magnehamn never grew beyond his age, as the subconscious is repressed and not allowed to grow up in man; him and his twin brothers represent the deaths that all men shall one day experience.
Gender Identity
Magneham always presents as a male.
