The small town has a mainly human population due to its close proximation to Tis'Envar. However occasionally Elves are known to travel to Barkamsted.
Industry & Trade
The town gets regular visits in the way of merchants docking their ships due to the lower tax as opposed to Tis'Envars, this merchants often sell and buy items from the town.
Infrastructure
The town is built by the great river which supports their docks along with Tis'Envars, due to this the town is centred around this location and many small wooden buildings accompany it.
Tourism
Many pass through the large river that separates Barkamsted and Tis'Envar, merchants and traders regularly stop at the docks as a resting point. During some times of the year the Lake Celebrations are held and attract a large amount of visitors.
