Chalise of Jude
The Jude Chalise is a relic from the earliest time of the Pharaohs of Khemit. It is believed to be a piece of the throne of Thinis when the first men carved the smaller throne from the god sized one. Some considered it blasphemous to do such a thing, but Jude, the master mason, called it divine right as the gods walked away from the throne and so he created the Chalise. The alabaster stone is ground so thin and smooth that it is almost transparent. It is inlaid with silver and semiprecious stones.
Imbued by the God Hapi, god of the river, pouring of water from the chalise would give vitality and health to the plants it was poured upon; growing and blooming before the owner's eyes. it was part of the purifying ritual that whomever drank from the chalise would be cured of ailments and diseases (this was only partially true as it purges parasites and diseases from the body).
However the powers of Hapi came from the primordial god Nu, one of the Ogdoad "the Eightfold" after the gods defeated them. While tamed by the gods within the chalice, it can be influenced by the Ogdoad, reverting to Nu's thoughts and intentions.
The reverse is presumably true. With enough positive Ka, the chalice can returned to the gift that Hapi originally bestowed.
