Haath-Genurit
Haath is the north eastern most village before entering Guurzan. It also is on the last (or First) footprint of the Gods, depending on your direction of travel. It is also two days ride west of Duat Canyon and south of Qarrasat Hills. A low wall with three gates encircles Haath. The Gates are East, West and North; connecting the roads into Haath. The oasis, Siwa, is outside the walled part of town, but there are wooden platforms for merchants to Set up trade, and irrigation to the small farms nearby. Haath itself has dug wells to the water level of the oasis within the walls.
If one was to find the shortest trade route, they could take the Torilaan River to the Qarrasat hills then travel south to Haath before skirting the edge of the Great Sand Sea East to Elephantine, the capitol of Khemit. It saves a week of travel, but it's the harshest of environments to travel through. Looking south of Haath, there is nothing but sand dunes. luckliy the winds blow west to east, otherwise Haath would be buried in sand. There are stories of lost cities out in the great sand sea. Every Khemitian town has such stories. Haath Natron traders propogate theirs with encrusted trinkets and bones found at Duat Canyon. Another Haath story is of the Green Man. A huge face, green from age, carved into a lone stone somewhere out in the desert. Few adventurers attempt to explore the Great Sand Sea, using Haath as a starting point and hopefully not get lost. While Haath is Khemitian, it is also a gateway trade route to Olappo for Guurzan, allowing the town of Haath to partake in luxuries from the nation of Caddesh, on the other side of Guurzan. The village elders decided long ago to keep the gates and market open to both countries and not tack on any usage fees for passing through.

The Azure Market.
Built on the edge of the oasis, it has imported wood to build walkways a few raised platforms and even a small dock into the oasis. The Market didn't have permanent merchants, but when caravans arrived, they were given a place to set up around the Oasis. local traders presented salt and natron mined from Duat canyon and Haath entertainers would come play music and dance on the dock for the surrounding merchants.
Once a year after harvest, Haan townfolks get a treat with a Holi festival that includes a lightshow of fireworks over Siwa. The fireworks are alchemical luxuries from the university of El Marresh, well over 2000 kilometers away in the Empire of Alcaldar.
