The First Drow Cohort

The primary drow faction of the underdark beneath the continent, having risen to promenance at the beginning of the empires demise and become first among drow with the forbidden knowledge gifted by the elven mage in return for astral connections.

Demography and Population

Almost exclusively drow elves, with a small community of slave drauegar (underdark dwarves) and several monsterous creatures,

Territories

Wide spanning reachs of the underdark, marked by the fourteen drow cities, 34 towns and 113 villages or outposts

Military

The drow wars of hegemony lead to initally the creation of elite fighting forces lead by commanders with mages assigned to individual cohorts, now the wars are concluded, the armies have disbanded and gone to settle or work, thus leading to the creation of the second rights legions, peacekeepers and miliitas in one. Three legions are still maintained by law, North, East and West. Magical creatures are held captive and trained by representative of the council, as they are seen as direct council property. This body is known as the blood farmers. The old military and the second rights regulalry clash over authority of certain issues such as border control, however the seconf rights have much better political connections and hence are in control.

Foreign Relations

Hostile to all except conquered drow settlements, who they view as inferior allies

Agriculture & Industry

The underdark is unforgiving, and only certain foods are able to be grown. One of the secrets of the supremacy wars was a series of anciient highways leading to the surface, allowing rare rocks to be exchanged for food supplies. A third of the kingdoms food is supplied this way, which is a major weakness for the drow and one their mages are attempting to fix.
