The breaking of bread is performed during most ceremonies involving the Lightbringer. Throughout the land, bakers often serve as lay clergy where an official priest cannot be found. The faith of The Lightbringer is highly structured with numerous holy days being observed throughout three of the four seasons. Brewers and distillers are also called to the worship of Gedlee and take great pains to perfect their art as it is seen as a divine gift of life and joy.
