Queen Mab is the ruler of the Unseelie Court, also known as the Winter Fae. She and Queen Titania have been battling each other for millennia.
Queen Mab always keeps a mortal Champion to do her bidding in the Prime Material Plane. This champion was Niklaus Byrne, until he was killed by Dory Jadeborn. Because of his death, Queen Mab now claims that every member of the Unnamed Ragtag Band of Adventurers owes her a favor.
