The Last Stand of The Comet
The Comet was the pride of the galaxy - a luxury star liner that took the wealthiest and most influential travellers in the finest accommodations to the hottest destinations.
That was 250 years ago. Technology has changed; people have moved on. The Comet is an aging queen too fine for the scrapyard. She was passed from Captain to Captain, slowly downgraded from Stardust Starline's premiere cruiser to eventually being sold off from owner to owner, stripped of her finer features and left only with minimally functional features - all too behind the curve to sell for scrap.
Now she's owned by Timora Rill. Once a decorated captain and devoted officer of the Fleet, she was medically discharged after sustaining an injury that gave her persistent migraines and seizures. She used the last of her military pension to buy the Comet, and has turned it into a functional but struggling cruise line again. She travels slowly from system to system, carrying passengers and catering to those with minimal budgets who want a taste of luxury.
But now, a mysterious force is invading. The Fleet is evacuating the sector. And the Comet has stalled out. Without the parts to repair the ship, the passengers and crew of the Comet are forced to choose between evacuating the ship with the fleet, scavenging for supplies on other abandoned ships, or facing off against the invading fleet.
What will happen during the Comet's Last Stand?
