Chikara Nadir

A sorceress blessed by Lazu himself, Chikara was an ancient evil who tormented all of Verden. She was Queen of the Labyrinth for five centuries until she and Selena Nadir abruptly went missing around the year 610. No one seems to know for certain what happened, but it is certain that Wisp ascended to the throne and now rules the Labyrinth alone.
Chikara was one of Verden's most powerful arcane masters and an unrelenting source of dread.

Personal history

No one is certain where Chikara came from. In the decades immediately following the defeat of Lazu, she merely arrived in the Labyrinth one day and began to challenge its earliest denizens for authority. One by one, they all yielded to her magic, her blade, or her seductions. Based on historical records from the Hall of Heroes and other classical domains, it is known that she was crowned Queen of the Labyrinth by the year 100 at the latest.
She led unholy crusades against every surface civilization, using the Labyrinth's vast network of tunnels to launch surprise raids against cities throughout southern Verden. Chikara raided, burned, and looted because it filled her with twisted joy.
With Chikara's leadership, the Labyrinth was the only domain that survived the Classical Age collapse. She attacked the Hall of Heroes during its weakest moments and this decisive strike was one of the key events that caused that mighty domain's dissolution. The Labyrinth continued to thrive in the era that followed, with Chikara taking on countless new powerful recruits to further strengthen her evil hordes.
Chikara and her two co-rulers, Selena and Wisp, planned to attack and raze the city of Olimandias after forming an alliance-of-convenience with other sovereign states. But on the eve of the invasion, Chikara and Selena went missing, and the invasion plans soon collapsed. No one has seen Chikara since then.

Updated: Chikara died fighting the first wave of the infernal army that stormed into the Labyrinth in the year 610. Rifts to the Nine Hells were opened by Lazu'Ru Xer, a cleric of Lazu who had grown to dislike Chikara's hubris and thought she was a threat to Lazu's worship.
After her position was overwhelmed, Chikara used Imprisonment to trap Selena in an immovable sphere. This act both saved Selena's life and also prevented further transit through the rift. Upon falling back to seek aid, she was cut off by a second rift and a terrifying Pit Fiend, along with the fiend's many escorts.
She cast Earthquake on the tunnel to destroy the Pit Fiend and his legion, but died with them.
Her soul has since been continually reweaved into new bodies -- but only recently deceased bodies rather than entirely new lives. With every reincarnation, she loses her memory. The cause of this curse is still unknown.
She is currently in the body of Kira.
