Twili
The Twili people have a mysterious origin linked to both Hylians and the Gerudo.
They are native to the Twilight Realm (alternatively called "the Shadowfell" by arcane cosmologists), and only rarely travel to the material plane. The Twilight Realm is largely dominated by roving monsters and independent entities of terror, so the Twili establishing a true civilization there is an unprecedented feat of strength and ingenuity.
The Twili have powers innately tied to their home plane, able to slip between worlds and see remarkably well in dark environments. Conversely, they are sensitive to sunlight on the Material Plane and must take precautions when adventuring during the day.
They are humanoids with traits that resemble both Hylian and Gerudo physiology, though some Twili can appear far more supernatural in their facial and body structures. They typically have bright orange hair, red-and-yellow eyes, and deathly pale skin that can occasionally appear shades of light blue or green. They typically wear black attire and frequently have ritual tattoos representing their bloodline origins.
