Wisp Contras

Wisp is the reigning Queen of the Labyrinth.
She is a phenomenally powerful bard who has centuries of combat experience. Previously known as The Countess, Wisp had already been co-ruling the Labyrinth for roughly four hundred years alongside Lady Selena and Queen Chikara Nadir when both women suddenly disappeared. Upon confirming Chikara's death, Wisp ascended to the throne with a heavy heart and began ruling alone.
A masterful spellcaster with few ethical constraints, Wisp is one of the most dangerous individuals in Verden.

Personal history

Little is known about Wisp's childhood, but as a teenager she attended one of Roslen's numerous bard colleges. She became a roving musician and an accomplished adventurer in her own right. While touring the Kingdom of Unidiel, she was caught up in a battle between the Hall of Heroes and the Labyrinth. Admiring her bravery and colorful use of foul language, the Labyrinth warband invited her back to their home as a prospective new member.
Already someone of mischievous and sometimes malicious intent, Wisp found herself oddly... at home in the dark. The people of the Labyrinth were surprisingly inviting and friendly to those with an innately morbid mindset. Wisp would rapidly rise through the ranks to obtain a position of leadership. That alone was no small task given the chaotic violence and boundless ambition of her peers.
Queen Chikara fully sanctioned her ascension by naming her "The Countess" of the Labyrinth. Countess Wisp ruled alongside Queen Chikara and Lady Selena for centuries. During the era of this de facto triumvirate, the Labyrinth was always regarded as the military powerhouse of the domains.
Around the year 610, however, Queen Chikara was killed and Lady Selena went missing. The triumvirate broken, Wisp became the new Queen of the Labyrinth and has been ruling alone ever since.
For the last hundred years, Wisp has been devoting her full attention to protecting the Labyrinth from the Cult of Lazu and the infernal forces trying to break into their home. Holding ground against a rival force of darkness requires her full concentration, and so Wisp has been unable to send any meaningful help to the Legends Alliance.
