Blood Magic

Blood Magic was used extensively by the devils that once ruled She'Ammut.
Requiring an incredibly disciplined mind, Blood Magic allows the practitioner to bend others to their will merely by having in their possession a sample of their blood (or the blood of a direct ancestor). This was previously used by their fiendish overlords to keep the masses in line.
Whilst this branch of the arcane is considered distasteful, it is taught in great detail to Binders as part of their standard training, with a rare few choosing to specialise in the craft. Though they are viewed with due wariness and suspicion, a skilled Cruorturge is a boon to society, and they are often called upon to enforce legal contracts.
