Lady Vera "Cacophony" Sokolova (a.k.a. Coco)
Cacophony is a member of the Exaltation of Nethyr, and the leader of one of its sects based in Tytheturne. The small village, on the border of Khastoro and Reuni, is home entirely to either members of the organisation or its allies. Cacophony, also known within her village as Coco, is fairly kind to her people, especially when compared to other sects of her religion. She also has some differing opinions of how the organisation should be run.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Cacophony is fit enough to hold her own in a fight against most, though not much stronger than that. She is somewhat dextrous, though not to an incredibly impressive degree. In a fight, she relies on magic and her allies, rather than brute force or agility. She is fairly thin, well-fed enough to sustain her, though she has never been one to eat more than what is necessary.
Body Features
Cacophony has reddish skin, one of the most notable aspects of her appearance, which she gets from her tiefling heritage. She has a somewhat wider build, inherited from her orcish parent, and is on the taller side - something that runs on all sides of her family. She has longer legs compared to her torso, and her legs themselves are hooved, a less common but still not unheard of trait for those with devil blood.
Facial Features
Cacophony has pointed ears, which she gets from the elven side of her family. She has small, barely-visible tusks that she inherited through her orcish blood. Her eyes are a solid red colour, indicative of her lineage. However, the true giveaway of her infernal heritage is the spiraled horns reaching upwards from her head. These bone-like horns extend upwards and to the side, originating from her brow line.
Special abilities
Cacophony has a few special abilites, most of which tied to her infernal heritage. The voices that she hears in her head - which she named herself Cacophony because of - are not entirely fictional. Some are from Nethyr, either to Cacophony herself or (more commonly) to prospective or former mothers, and other tieflings of Nethyr. Because of this, Cacophony is able to learn about happenings in other sects of the religion without requiring much in the way of spywork. She can also hear the screams of dying tieflings of Nethyr - a morbid thing to know, but also helpful in tracking the other sect leaders.
It is unclear how Cacophony got this ability, as it is unique to her among the other tieflings of Nethyr. My best guess is that it has something to do with her biological parents - something in the bloodline with a tie to the Astral Plane.
Cacophony also is highly adept at blood magic, which is her primary method of fighting when without allies to rely on. She focuses on manipulating the blood of her opponents, causing harm and disease as well as uncontrolled spasms. While most of her magical study is dedicated to conjuration of otherworldly beings, she is able to practice blood magic with ease and grace.

Apparel & Accessories
Cacophony wears loose clothing, typically in colours of purple, red, white, yellow, and/or black. She likes to wear both brass and silver jewellery, often in cuffs or bands. She wears a brass circlet on her head - when asked, she always says that it's her one possession from her mother, though the genuinity of this assertion is up for questiong.

Personal history
Birth
Vera Sokolova was born in Reuni, in its northern territory of Vorogo. She was born to an orc and an elf, both of whom have since passed away. The couple was infertile, and yet wanted desperately to have a baby. They tried all possible methods of conceiving a child, before they eventually turned to Nethyr - the greater devil of motherhood. They were then blessed with a child, which they were very excited about up until her birth. However, when their baby girl, Vera, was finally born, they were less than thrilled at how she came out.Childhood
When Vera was born, she was born a tiefling only slightly resembling her parents' species. Her parents feared her and their actions as soon as she was born, bundling her up and leaving her in the woods to be forgotten, the proof of their deeds to be lost. However, Vera was soon found by an elderly woman who called herself the Truth. Truth raised Vera until she was around 13 years old, at which point Truth revealed Vera's true parentage, and the morning afterwards was gone without a trace.Independence
At this point. Vera began to hears whispers in her mind. These whispers were kind and caring, telling her that she was cared for, that her mother loved her, and that everything was going to be alright. Contrasting these whispers, however, were screams - screams that, she knew, were the sounds of people dying. Vera did her best to ignore these voices, but as she settled down in the tiny settlement of Tytheturne, she realised that she could no longer deny them.Beginnings of Faith
Now going by the name of Cacophony, she began to learn of her roots. She now was able to fully understand what had happened to her as a child, and she decided to connect to her true mother. She would begin her research into Nethyr, and unlike the majority of her siblings, she did not blindly accept the word of Nethyr nor reject it outright. Instead, she found a middle ground - she wanted to represent what Nethyr could have been as a true deity.
She grew in standing within the village of Tytheturne, founding the temple to Nethyr on the edge of the strange plateau atop the village's centre. She garnered support fairly quickly, and her settlement became dedicated to providing homes for those who had been rejected by the other sects of the Exaltation of Nethyr. It was then, however, that she started to gain the attention of these other sects - who did not like what she was doing.
Guardian of Tytheturne
Cacophony soon realised that if she wanted to maintain both her faith and her village, she needed to be able to protect them and herself. She gained a somewhat critical outlook on life as she became cautious of nearly every outsider. She also learned that the task of protecting the village was not something that she could do alone. It was at this point that she turned to the art of conjuring. She was able to summon creatures from other planes, completely loyal to her so that she didn't have to question whether they would try to stab her in the back. Entirely capable, with little to no training required. And their mere presence acted as a deterrent for any would-be infiltrators or attackers.
Education
Cacophony was educated by Truth, who she learned much of her worldly knowledge from. Much of her learning about Nethyr and her ways was self-taught, in research that Cacophony did on her own time. She has learned a bit here and there about other miscellaneous topics from the people of her village, as well.
Intellectual Characteristics
Cacophony is no more or less intelligent that most average folk, but she is adept in social situations. She is able to easily read people and situations, and knows how to respond accordingly to receive a desired outcome. There are a rare few people who can lie to her - the least of whom residing in Tytheturne. Cacophany uses these skills to keep her village safe.
Morality & Philosophy
To Cacophony, the most important thing in the world is the safety of her people. She would place her own well-being over this goal, but does not do so unless the village would have someone to take their place as their protector.
Cacophony is not above morally-grey actions, and even actions that some would consider evil. The act of worshipping a devil, her use of summoned monsters to protect the village, and more all lead some to the belief that she is a bad person. The answer to whether or not Cacophony is a bad person is much more complicated than this, however.

Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Cacophony's sole motivation is the protection of the village that she calls home, Tytheturne. She has spent multiple centuries living there, and has no intentions of stopping or moving any time soon. She will do almost anything, if not anything, to ensure the safety and security - as well as the peace-of-mind - of everyone living within her village.
Social
Mannerisms
Cacophony is generally a serious person. She likes to assess every situation and person that she comes across, and makes it absolutely no secret that she is doing so. She speaks with somewhat of a Vorogan accent, mixed with some Vransian - this accent can be confusing to some people, especially those noticing her primarily elven appearance below her tiefling features.
I do not pose a threat to you. The only thing I care for is the protection of my people. The question is, do you pose a threat to them?
