Daeni the Thoughtful is an elven tea shop owner who makes her home in the Feywild, talking to anyone who wishes to stop by. Born on the material plane, she found herself in the Feywild after following a trail of clues that led her far away from home. As an elf born before the God War, she has a title rather than a surname - Daeni the Thoughtful. There are conflicting accounts as to how this name came about. Some say that she is constantly lost in thought, while others say it comes from her thoughtfulness of those around her. As somewhat of a mystery herself, Daeni does not confirm or deny any of these assertions, leaving those who speak with her often more unsure than they were before.
She is a kind soul, one of very few that can be found in the Feywild. Making her home near Nellara's own domain, Daeni provides respite and nourishment for those who come her way, in the form of home-brewed tea. It is said that her teas are magically infused, with plants across the Feywild, as all who come and go find themselves refreshed. The one exception to this, however, is those who choose to cross her. They leave feeling fine, until the realise that they are eternally trapped within the Feywild, never to return to the material plane again.

Personal history
Daeni was born in Khastoro close to the beginning of the God War. It was not long before her home was lost to the war, much like many of those living in the region. She was separated from her people, and wandering alone, before she found something strange - something that was seemingly a clue, which led her to another, and another. Eventually, she found her way into the Feywild, where she was safe from the ongoing war. Even after it stopped, however, she remained in the Feywild. She had made a home there, and she did not want to leave another home behind.
As she remained in the Feywild, she would watch. She would listen to conversations between travellers, watch people interact. She would talk to those who approached, or when she had meaningful input. And soon, she became a noteworthy person in the Feywild. Despite the fact that she was technically an outsider, the fey recognised her as a kindred spirit, accepting her as their own and respecting her.

Notes from Saibra
The clues left in the material plane were Sha'Ren the Lost's way of finding a path to and from the Feywild during the God War. The fey had closed themselves off to outsiders, to prevent the war from spilling, and only a precious few knew how to cross the barrier between the two worlds.
