Hello there! I see you've found your way into my office. Oh don't worry, visitors are more than welcome here! What do you wish to know? Here, I have an Index to help you navigate the library- oh, you came here to learn about me?
...Well, I suppose that's alright. What do you want to know?
...Well, I suppose that's alright. What do you want to know?
How did you come to work at the Library?
Oh, well this has always been a little project of mine. It's one of my core beliefs that the world is made to be understood. But that's no good if there's no collection of information, no way to learn, right? So I started this Library as a way to allow others to learn as they so wish.
It's come a lot further in the centuries I've maintained it, of course. The world is always changing, and so the Library has to change to suit it. Of course, there's no use in a library that doesn't change with the times - you end up with all sorts of old and outdated information that's not accurate to the current times at all!

Where are you from?
Oh, that's a long story with a complicated answer. I'm from Dulūn, of course - the Material Plane, more specifically. But I've taken a liking to some of the outer planes. That's why I set up this library in the Astral Sea. But I consider the Library my home now, anyways. It's where I return to when I'm not meeting the Cobalt Sun. If I slept or ate, I'd do it here.
What do you do for a living?
I'm an archmage in the Cobalt Sun - True Magic, specifically. We work on creating new spells, regulating the use of existing ones, and determining the ethical implications of the use of our type of magic. I'm specifically a Spellmaster, which means I'm responsible for keeping track of all of the existing True Magic spells.
What are you? You don't look like any of the other species in Dulūn...
Well, that's another complicated question, but I'll try my best to answer. I didn't always look like this - I was human, in appearance at least. But I was working on creating a new type of magic - something between green and purple. But I didn't take the proper precautions, and my experiment... blew up in my face. It's part of the reason why I wear a mask now, and all of the reason I have four arms. But they've proven useful in my work, so I don't complain. And don't worry, I learned my lesson about proper methods and safety during experimentation.
