Webrock Pass

Webrock Pass rests halfway up the side of a canyon and offers its citizens protection on two fronts. Firstly, its location against the cliff makes it very difficult for beasts or other would-be invaders to reach the village without using the well-known and well-guarded pathways. Secondly, a massive spider maintains a thick web across the top of the canyon, creating a barrier against any aerial assaults. The spider has lived in the canyon for far longer than Webrock Pass has existed, and it largely ignores the village and its inhabitants. Occasionally, when the spider cleans its web, the remains that drop down provide the villagers with some very interesting resources.
