The Commons

A densely populated area that surrounds the outer perimeter of The Citadel, all contained within the city of Chaosia. Approximately four-fifths of the city's population resides in The Commons, most of which have difficulty surviving, resulting in high crime rates.
The Commons are classified as lower-class, and is often dismissed by those who reside within The Citadel. City guards have been known to look down upon residents of The Commons, mostly due to the crime rates, so they bundle everyone into one generalized category. General Nero ignores most of what goes on in The Commons, which grants the city guards a form of martial law in most cases.
The people of The Commons typically fall into the bracket of envy for those who live within The Citadel in hopes to one day live there themselves, while others loathe them and wish to see General Nero overthrown so equal rights can be given to all of Chaosia.
